Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify emerging technological, societal, and economic trends impacting 2026+ horizons
- Develop comprehensive future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for executive leadership and product teams
- Collaborate with R&D to integrate foresight insights into product development and innovation pipelines
- Present trend analyses and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership content for industry publications
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate a culture of innovation and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal megatrends
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex data into compelling narratives and actionable strategies
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
- Prior publication in peer-reviewed journals or industry-leading publications
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method) and data visualization platforms
