Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year strategic roadmaps integrating emerging technologies (quantum AI, biocomputing, neural interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping sessions with engineering and design teams
- Deliver executive-level trend briefings on disruptive market shifts and regulatory impacts
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI governance and sustainable tech deployment
- Forge strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, World Economic Forum, and NASA innovation hubs
- Quantify ROI scenarios for exponential technologies through predictive modeling
- Mentor a team of 3-5 futurist analysts using scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or Computational Science
- Published thought leadership in Nature Futures or MIT Technology Review
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ case studies)
- Expertise in scenario planning using Horizon Scanning and Delphi methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technology convergence patterns
- Certification in Strategic Foresight from futurists.org or equivalent
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/R preferred)
