Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic foresight frameworks targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives using quantitative and qualitative methodologies
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for competitive advantage opportunities
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Produce high-impact trend reports and strategic briefings for board-level stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists while establishing departmental KPIs for innovation adoption
- Drive innovation sprints that prototype 2026-ready solutions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of developing executable 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and cross-impact matrix analysis
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or MFIA)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-oriented projects with measurable outcomes
