Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating next-gen tech with existing enterprise infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams on future-state architectures
- Present foresight findings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Author whitepapers on technological convergence and societal impact
- Manage innovation incubator projects with $5M+ annual budgets
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and global research labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D, or emerging technology leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum systems, AI ethics, neurotech, or climate modeling
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Prior work in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, or defense preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-tech solutions
