Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data from quantum computing, biotech, and AI to forecast market disruptions through 2030
- Develop strategic frameworks for adopting exponential technologies across enterprise operations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-vision implementation
- Author high-impact thought leadership positioning Nexus as a 2026 technology pioneer
- Manage competitive intelligence networks and scenario planning for black swan events
- Partner with venture capital arm to identify disruptive startups for acquisition/partnerships
- Present futures insights to executive board and industry conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published research on technology adoption curves or disruption forecasting
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFS, FPFS) preferred
- Experience scaling technology roadmaps from concept to market execution
- Exceptional storytelling skills translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-vision implementations
