Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycles for stadium operations and event logistics leading up to and during the 2026 tournament.
- Manage multi-million dollar budgets, ensuring financial accountability and resource optimization across diverse teams.
- Collaborate with local, state, and federal government bodies to ensure full compliance with security and safety protocols.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives including technology integration, vendor management, and stakeholder communication.
- Develop comprehensive contingency plans to mitigate risks in real-time during high-pressure events.
- Mentor junior project managers and foster a culture of operational excellence and safety.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in project management, specifically within large-scale event management or sports industry.
- Proven track record of managing budgets exceeding $5M and leading teams of 10+ members.
- Strong understanding of international logistics, regulatory compliance, and venue operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field; PMP or Prince2 certification is highly preferred.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is a significant advantage.
- Ability to travel extensively, including international travel, as required.
