Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design and implement scalable, high-performance microservices and APIs to support ticketing, logistics, and fan engagement platforms for the 2026 event.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize database queries and application performance to ensure zero downtime and sub-second response times during peak traffic.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend teams to translate complex requirements into elegant technical solutions.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Manage and deploy applications on AWS/Azure, utilizing containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) for seamless scaling.
- Security & Compliance: Implement robust security protocols and data encryption standards to protect user data and intellectual property.
- Code Reviews: Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and establish best practices for coding and documentation within the engineering team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on backend or full-stack engineering.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Python.
- Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Database: Deep understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis) databases and query optimization.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
