Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026-2030 strategic planning cycles
- Develop scenario-based futures frameworks for business continuity and growth
- Partner with R&D to identify breakthrough technologies with 5-10 year impact
- Create executive-ready foresight reports and strategic recommendations
- Design innovation workshops to cross-pollinate ideas across departments
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track evolution metrics
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership events
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing long-term business roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on strategic transformation
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., CFtp) preferred
