Responsibilities
- Design and optimize solar/wind/hydroelectric energy systems for commercial and residential applications
- Develop AI-powered energy grid management algorithms for 2026 smart city infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen energy storage solutions
- Conduct lifecycle analysis and environmental impact assessments for new technologies
- Collaborate with government agencies on renewable energy policy implementation
- Mentor junior engineers on emerging sustainability standards and best practices
- Present findings at industry conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Renewable Energy Engineering or related field
- 5+ years experience in sustainable energy project implementation
- Proficiency in energy modeling software (HOMER, PVsyst, OpenStudio)
- Deep understanding of grid integration technologies and microgrid systems
- Experience with AI/ML applications in energy optimization
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
- Proven track record of delivering carbon-neutral energy solutions
- Strong knowledge of 2026 EPA emissions regulations and carbon credit systems
