Job Summary
As a Weekend Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in our logistics chain. You will be responsible for ensuring our inventory is processed, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently during our peak weekend periods.
Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick items from the warehouse floor and prepare them for shipping using packing materials.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure stock levels are correct.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all items meet our high-quality standards before dispatch.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to optimize workflow and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to show up on time every shift.
- Communication Skills: Basic English skills required for reading labels and communicating with supervisors.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Attention to Detail: Must be meticulous in counting and packaging items.
