Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and stage merchandise using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts, stock organization, and ensure accurate inventory levels in the warehouse management system.
- Packaging: Prepare products for shipment using appropriate packaging materials and methods to prevent damage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment.
- Quality Assurance: Verify orders against packing slips to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail preferred.
- Reliability: A strong track record of attendance and punctuality is essential.
- Equipment: Forklift certification is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Communication: Basic computer literacy and ability to communicate effectively with team leads.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
