Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional in-person customer service during weekend peak hours (10 AM - 6 PM Sat/Sun)
- Expertly showcase and sell locally-sourced artisan products, crafts, and gourmet foods
- Process transactions accurately while maintaining a welcoming store atmosphere
- Assist with weekend inventory management and product displays
- Collaborate with weekend team to ensure seamless operations
- Collect and report customer feedback to enhance local product offerings
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for supporting local businesses and Raleigh's artisan community
- Availability to work all weekend shifts (Saturdays & Sundays)
- Basic POS system proficiency or willingness to learn
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Positive attitude and problem-solving mindset
