Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor upon entering the store.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale (POS).
- Stock shelves and merchandise to ensure the store is well-presented and organized at all times.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, services, and store policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer shopping experience.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and minor customer complaints with patience and efficiency.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
- Proficiency with technology and POS systems is a plus.
