Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor, answering inquiries and providing product recommendations to enhance the shopping experience.
- Operational Excellence: Operate POS systems accurately, process transactions, and handle returns or exchanges efficiently while adhering to company policies.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and stocked to ensure a safe and appealing shopping environment at all times.
- Inventory Management: Assist with receiving shipments, tagging merchandise, and conducting regular stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Merchandising: Help with visual displays and ensuring product signage is up to date and accurate to drive sales.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and have the flexibility to cover occasional holidays.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customer groups.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and dependability in a work environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
