Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring and medication administration
- Assist patients with daily living activities and mobility support
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Collaborate with nursing staff on patient care plans
- Respond to patient inquiries and emergency situations appropriately
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols
- Support facility cleanliness and infection control procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 6 months healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible weekends (Saturday/Sunday)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency with EMR systems
- Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Valid Texas state driver's license (for transportation needs)
