Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort measures
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during weekends
Qualifications
- Current NM nursing license or CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Flexibility to cover variable weekend schedules
- Pass background check and drug screening
