Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care activities across 12-hour weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Document patient records with precision using EMR systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during weekend coverage
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Conduct weekend patient assessments and care plan updates
Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license in Virginia
- 2+ years clinical experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- EMR proficiency (Epic systems a plus)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend coverage
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend shifts
- Strong attention to detail in documentation
