Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including vital sign monitoring, medication assistance, and treatment support
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using electronic health systems
- Coordinate care plans with multidisciplinary teams and physicians
- Ensure patient safety through strict adherence to infection control protocols
- Provide compassionate support to patients and families during weekend hours
- Assist with emergency response procedures and urgent patient situations
- Participate in weekend staff training and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Minnesota healthcare certification (CNA, MA, or EMT)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts, 6am-6pm)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and priorities
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
- Valid Minnesota driver's license preferred
