Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate weekend warehouse activities to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipment dispatch.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on incoming and outgoing inventory to maintain 100% accuracy.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies during all shifts.
- Mentor and guide part-time staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and operational excellence.
- Maintain accurate digital logs and reports regarding inventory levels and shift performance.
- Operate heavy machinery and forklifts (certification provided upon hire) as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license (Class C) and clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Chicago facility.
