Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs assessments and patient intake procedures
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor clinical procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Prepare and maintain sterile examination rooms and medical supplies
- Administer injections and medications per physician protocols
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Coordinate weekend patient flow and triage urgent requests
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (6AM-6PM shifts)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
