Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vital sign checks, and medical history documentation
- Assist providers with examinations, injections, and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Coordinate patient flow and weekend appointment scheduling
- Handle specimen processing and basic lab procedures
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or similar)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Flexibility to work Saturdays/Sundays (8am-6pm shifts)
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish
- Basic phlebotomy and EKG certification
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced weekend environments
- Current BLS/CPR certification
