Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, including vital signs measurement and medical history documentation
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and ensure sterile environments
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain clean, organized examination rooms
- Handle phone triage and patient education materials
- Process lab specimens and maintain inventory of medical supplies
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Flexibility to cover occasional holiday rotations
