Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and vital sign monitoring during weekend shifts
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and administrative tasks
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure clinic efficiency during peak weekend hours
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and/or Sundays (8am-6pm)
- BLS/CPR certification required
