Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments under physician supervision
- Perform vital signs and preliminary patient assessments
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning
- Coordinate with weekend nursing and specialist teams
- Handle emergency protocols and triage situations
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Medical Assistant certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
