Responsibilities
- Delve into patient assessments, vital sign monitoring, and EKG procedures
- Administer injections and medications under physician supervision
- Maintain immaculate electronic health records and inventory systems
- Coordinate patient flow between exam rooms and treatment areas
- Assist in minor clinical procedures and emergency response protocols
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless weekend operations
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA or RMA) with Florida state license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced environments
- BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic experience highly valued)
- Ability to work independently during weekend coverage periods
- Flexibility to adapt to urgent patient care situations
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree preferred)
