Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Operations: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers using forklifts and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate cycle counts and maintain organized stockrooms to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic pre-shift inspections on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Night Security: Monitor the facility for security breaches and ensure proper access control during off-hours.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and digital records of daily operations and stock movements.
Qualifications
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work alternating Saturday and Sunday night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Equipment Skills: Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and handheld scanners.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
