Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and document observations every 2 hours
- Assist with ADLs (bathing, mobility, medication administration)
- Respond to emergency calls using rapid-response protocols
- Coordinate care with on-call physicians and nursing staff
- Maintain sterile environments per infection control standards
- Schedule patient treatments and diagnostic procedures
- Complete electronic health records with precision
- Lead shift handover briefings at shift start/end
Qualifications
- CNA, EMT, or medical assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or overnight experience
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper technique
- Proficient in Epic EMR systems
- Exceptional situational judgment under pressure
- Valid DC healthcare worker license
- Fluent English with clear communication skills
