Our state-of-the-art facility in Nashville offers modern amenities and a supportive culture. This role requires 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) on weekends, with potential for additional weekday coverage. We provide comprehensive training and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy services
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Coordinate patient flow and communicate with healthcare team
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Handle emergency situations following protocol
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
