Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitoring during overnight weekend shifts
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Document patient encounters accurately in EHR systems
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and emergency services
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Respond to patient inquiries and address immediate concerns
- Prepare shift reports for handover to day staff
Qualifications
- Current California CNA or LVN license required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in acute/critical care
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Availability for all Saturday/Sunday shifts
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
