Responsibilities
- Delight patients with compassionate care during weekend and overnight shifts
- Monitor vital signs and document patient status in EMR systems
- Assist with mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergencies
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Transport patients safely between departments
- Participate in shift handovers and team huddles
Qualifications
- Current CNA or EMT certification required
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Minimum 6 months healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 12-hour shifts
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays
- Proficient with electronic medical records
