Responsibilities
- Lead Weekend Operations: Direct and supervise the daily workflow of the warehouse team during Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts to meet operational targets.
- Inventory Control: Oversee receiving, stocking, and shipping processes, ensuring 100% accuracy in inventory records and cycle counts.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA safety standards, conduct safety briefings, and ensure all team members wear appropriate PPE.
- Team Management: Mentor junior staff, conduct performance reviews, and resolve operational issues on the floor in real-time.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in weekend workflows and implement strategies to improve throughput and reduce errors.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate routine maintenance of warehouse equipment and ensure all machinery is in safe working order.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
- Schedule: Must be available to work full-time weekend shifts (Fri-Sun) and be willing to work overtime during peak seasons.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business or Logistics is a plus.
- Skills: Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanning devices.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
