Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient intake, appointments, and discharge processes on weekends
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Manage patient inquiries with empathy and efficiency
- Ensure HIPAA compliance for all weekend operations
- Support weekend triage and emergency response protocols
- Prepare weekend shift reports and handoff documentation
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in healthcare or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years healthcare coordination experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Strong problem-solving under pressure
- Availability for all Saturday/Sunday shifts (7am-7pm)
- Washington DC healthcare license/certification
