Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations accurately
- Assist patients with daily living activities and mobility support
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures under clinician guidance
- Maintain sterile environments and assist with medical equipment sterilization
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care transitions
- Respond to patient call lights promptly with empathy and professionalism
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA or PCT certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience in acute or outpatient setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Strong communication skills with ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
