Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selection to enhance the shopping experience.
- Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are properly labeled.
- Operations: Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to process transactions efficiently and handle returns or exchanges.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure store goals are met and to create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counts and reporting to ensure stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; on-the-job training provided.
- Experience: No prior retail experience required—just a willingness to learn and grow.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends, specifically Saturday and Sunday.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and move around the sales floor actively.
