Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional service to all customers, answering questions and assisting with product selection to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Store Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment by restocking shelves, folding merchandise, and ensuring the sales floor is ready for the weekend rush.
- Transaction Support: Process sales transactions accurately at the point of sale, handling cash and credit payments with a high degree of precision.
- Merchandising: Assist with visual merchandising initiatives, ensuring displays are eye-catching and promotional materials are correctly positioned.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth store operations during peak weekend hours.
- Inventory Management: Assist in basic inventory counts and stockroom organization to keep merchandise flowing to the sales floor.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and possess a flexible schedule.
- Experience: No prior retail experience is required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Reliability: A consistent work history and the ability to arrive on time and ready to work.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift boxes up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive motions (bending, reaching, twisting).
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
