Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor upon entering the store.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Restock shelves and maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
- Assist in store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security checks.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability and store policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations during peak weekend hours.
- Adhere to all company health and safety guidelines and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work a minimum of 8 hours per weekend day (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform light physical tasks.
- Willingness to cross-train in different departments as needed.
