Responsibilities
- Freight Handling: Safely unload and organize incoming shipments and inventory.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate stock counts and manage inventory records using our proprietary software.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure they meet company standards before storage.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks to move materials efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and cross-functional departments to ensure workflow efficiency.
- Customer Service: Assist in answering inquiries and resolving issues regarding orders and shipments.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Experience: No prior logistics experience required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy and typing proficiency are necessary.
- Reliability: Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
