Responsibilities
- Receive and Inspect: Accurately receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
- Inventory Management: Utilize scanning technology to update inventory systems and maintain accurate stock levels.
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and safety protocols.
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks (certification provided if needed).
- Quality Control: Perform routine checks to ensure all outgoing orders meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times, adhering to OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with flexibility for overtime if required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors.
- Reliability: A track record of consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
