Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and medication administration during weekend shifts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical histories
- Respond to emergency situations with swift, evidence-based interventions
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and discharge protocols
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards
- Participate in weekend shift handovers and care coordination
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license (required)
- BSN or Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- 2+ years of acute care experience (weekend shift experience a plus)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (must maintain current status)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Electronic Health Records (EHR) proficiency
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
