Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load/unload shipments efficiently
- Perform inventory management and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate weekend delivery schedules
- Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA regulations in all warehouse operations
- Process orders using WMS systems while maintaining data accuracy
- Train new associates on weekend shift procedures and equipment usage
- Report maintenance issues and equipment malfunctions promptly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or logistics experience
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10 training required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Basic proficiency in inventory management software
- Flexible availability to work Saturdays and Sundays
- Valid Tennessee driver's license (if operating company vehicles)
