Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate weekend warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 15+ weekend staff members through performance coaching and skill development
- Implement process improvements to enhance weekend operational efficiency and reduce turnaround times
- Monitor key performance metrics (KPIs) and generate weekly performance reports for senior leadership
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance during weekend operations
- Collaborate with weekday managers to maintain operational continuity and resolve cross-shift issues
- Manage weekend inventory counts and reconciliation processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations with 2+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record of managing weekend or shift operations in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities with experience in team leadership
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions during weekend shifts
