Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate companionship and assistance to patients during weekend shifts
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to clinical staff
- Assist with mobility, meal preparation, and light housekeeping tasks
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient comfort
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and requests
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and infection control standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation for weekend shifts
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for documentation tasks
- Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required
