Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently load, unload, and sort merchandise using forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels by performing regular cycle counts and updating inventory records in our warehouse management system.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damages and ensure all items meet company quality standards before processing.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe by adhering to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to ensure timely processing of orders and efficient workflow.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or retail is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) with the ability to work overtime during peak seasons.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Documentation: Must be eligible to work in the United States and possess a valid driver's license.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to read and understand work instructions and safety labels.
