Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently handle freight and cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, scanning, and organizing inventory to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and within the specified timeframes.
- Maintain Safety: Adhere to all safety regulations and keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Equipment Checks: Perform routine safety checks on machinery and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and shift supervisors to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Reliability: A strong track record of punctuality and attendance is required.
- Basic Literacy: Ability to read, write, and understand basic English instructions and safety labels.
- Attention to Detail: Must be meticulous in scanning items and verifying order accuracy.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
