Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks with accuracy and speed.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate stock records within our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized, ensuring designated storage areas are tidy and accessible.
- Shipping & Receiving: Process inbound and outbound shipments, verifying contents against packing slips.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic pre-shift inspections on forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.
- Reliability: A strong track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team leads and management.
