Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload freight trucks and containers using hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Pick and Pack: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Control: Assist with receiving shipments, checking for damages, and organizing stock in the warehouse.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations at all times.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic warehouse equipment such as forklifts (after certification) and scanners.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards before shipping.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work in a team setting.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check.
- Communication: Basic English reading and comprehension skills to follow safety and operational instructions.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required for entry-level positions.
