Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate weekend warehouse teams (5-8 staff members) during Saturday/Sunday shifts
- Optimize inventory management processes including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and quality control standards
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks (certification provided)
- Resolve operational challenges and maintain efficient workflow during peak weekend volumes
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and post-shift performance reviews
- Collaborate with weekday supervisors for seamless handovers and process improvements
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse or logistics experience with shift leadership background
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain company-provided training)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing priorities
- Excellent communication skills for team coordination and documentation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts
- Basic proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Flexibility to work 8-hour shifts (6 AM - 2 PM or 2 PM - 10 PM) on weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
