Responsibilities
- Manage weekend warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor weekend staff (8-12 team members) through performance coaching
- Implement and optimize inventory control systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (transportation, procurement) for weekend operations
- Conduct weekend safety audits and ensure OSHA compliance
- Generate performance reports and implement process improvements
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve operational issues
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with weekend shift leadership
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making experience
- Excellent problem-solving abilities under pressure
- Forklift certification and hazardous materials handling knowledge
- Experience managing unionized teams preferred
