Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Supervise all warehouse activities during weekend shifts to ensure efficiency and timely order fulfillment.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and conduct daily safety briefings to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of warehouse associates, providing training and support as needed.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, manage incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensure accurate inventory records.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect goods for damage and ensure all products meet company quality standards before shipping.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for weekend operations, coordinating with management and support staff.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams or acting as a shift lead.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a full-time basis.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Certifications: Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
