Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks for autonomous systems deployed in 2026
- Conduct algorithmic audits to identify and mitigate bias in machine learning models
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI development lifecycles
- Advise leadership on emerging AI regulations and policy implications
- Lead stakeholder engagement with diverse communities to incorporate societal values
- Establish metrics for measuring AI fairness and transparency
- Represent the company at global ethics summits and regulatory discussions
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Philosophy, Ethics, or related field with 7+ years of AI ethics experience
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques for large-scale machine learning systems
- Proven track record of developing AI governance frameworks for commercial products
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts to technical teams
- Experience with interdisciplinary research in human-AI interaction
- Published work in AI ethics or related academic/conference venues
- Proficiency in Python and statistical analysis for algorithmic auditing
